We’ve got another “smoky skies advisory” today after it was lifted for a day. I live on southern Vancouver Island, off the Pacific Coast of Canada, in British Columbia. Washington State is to the south just across the Juan de Fuca Strait. There is a wildfire burning there in the Olympic National Forest. Further south, Oregon and California are also fighting wildfires. To the north, Alaska has some fires burning but the situation is so bad in BC that a State of Emergency has been declared, Canadian Forces and RCMP have been deployed to help as well as firefighters from other provinces and countries.
Locally, I am grateful there are no fires right now, but the smoke has been thick. I haven’t gone out much but my eyes have been watering incredibly, the cats have been staying inside and coughing and sneezing. The veterinary receptionist and the pizza delivery guy, both probably in their twenties, told me they had trouble breathing.
While we are far enough away that I don’t think there are thermal effects, smoke from fires contain various chemicals (including carbon monoxide and hydrogen cyanide) and particles that irritate the airways, causing them to swell and reduce oxygen intake.
For the cats and me, I played an audio frequency set for catarrh (inflamed nose and throat mucous membranes). Most of the coughing and sneezing stopped but some of the cats seemed more lethargic than usual. Fatigue can be a symptom of oxygen deficiency.
I often use Energy Apps (also called Mandalas) from Subtle Energy Sciences while I’m on the computer. These are picture files encoded with different energies that just sit silently on the computer. Activated by the electronics, all of the Apps neutralise harmful EMFs, turning them into beneficial energy. One of the Apps I typically run is Virtual Oxygen Therapy.
It wasn’t wildfire season when I purchased Virtual Oxygen Therapy. I was interested in improving my health by improving my circulation and preventing various conditions aggravated by oxygen deficiency (cancer, asthma, muscle pain and more) and strengthening my immune system. But since it does increase oxygen flow in the body, Virtual Oxygen Therapy is ideal for this smoky time.
Unfortunately for my cats, one has to be within about three feet of the computer when the Energy App is running to get the effect. BUT, included in the Oxygen Therapy package are two audio tracks (20 and 60 minutes long) as well as an ultra-strength silent track. So I’ve played one of the audio tracks for a while now, and the cats seem to have perked up. I should mention that there is also a Virtual Oxygen Energy App for your phone.
You can check out Virtual Oxygen Therapy for yourself by going here and scrolling about two thirds of the way down the page. There is a five-minute demo there. If you decide to purchase, there is a 90-day money-back guarantee. And it is a download, so you receive it immediately.
I’m looking forward to fall and the rainy season. I find the headlines about this extreme wildfire activity being the “new normal” to be very ominous. But new problems require new solutions and I’m glad I’ve found one.
