Many people are familiar with the basic concept of meridians, drawn from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The meridians are the pathways for qi or life energy within the body. “Stuck” energy can be experienced as disease in the body and/or emotional distress. TCM practitioners are taught the emotional and physical symptoms of energy stuck at the different meridian points.
When the energy is “stuck” at a certain point, stimulating that point by special needles (acupuncture), finger pressure (acupressure) or tapping (Emotional Freedom Technique “EFT”) releases the energy to properly flow again. Sound frequencies can also stimulate the acupuncture points. And this acupuncture by sound may be used on dogs and cats and other mammals.
Not that many people are aware that animals — and all Life forms — also have meridians. Some holistic veterinarians practice acupuncture on their patients. Kurt Ebert, a neuro-psychologist, produced a CD for animals that stimulates the meridian points with sound frequencies particular to each point. The CD is for mammals and uses the same sound frequency formulas Dr Ebert uses with humans. In his youtube lecture however, he mentions that he has isolated frequencies for use with birds, reptiles, plants and even insects (he confides he has a very powerful sonic mosquito repellent).
Dr Ebert experimented with pigs on a pig farm, using a special antenna that could broadcast the sound frequencies over a large area. He found that use of the sound frequencies caused the pigs to grow faster while eating less. The frequencies also reduced aggression between pigs and the pigs’ fear of humans.
